A Challenger is a player who wins their spot at Battle of Bats through a global selection process — and then competes alongside and against the legends and professionals.

The Opportunity
The Same Field as the Legends.
Selected Challengers join a 2027 team and play the 4X matches at Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium — the same overs, the same broadcast, the same dressing room as the established names. In Edition 1, roughly 7,000 players applied for the chance.
Eligibility
18+
Open to players 18+, with the programme focused on professional and semi-professional players. Detailed eligibility rules will be published with the application.
