How It Works

From Download to Leaderboard.

You qualify for the leaderboard by completing at least 3 challenges, as a batter or a bowler, 16 Oct – 30 Nov 2026.

  1. 01

    Download and register

Create your profile in the Challengers Crease app and accept the Battle of Bats consent to share your data with VTEX.

  2. 02

Pick a league and a challenge

Each league in the app is a Battle of Bats squad. Challenges come in two tracks: batting and bowling.

  3. 03

    Pay to enter

USD 5 per attempt, paid with app credits.

  4. 04

    Film and upload

Record your attempt following the challenge's instructions and upload it.

  5. 05

    Get scored

AI scores every ball and returns a score plus feedback, usually within 1–2 days.

  6. 06

Retry to beat your best score

Each retry costs USD 5. Only your best score on each challenge counts.

  7. 07

    Complete at least 3 challenges

In the same league or across different leagues.

  8. 08

    Climb the leaderboard

One combined leaderboard ranks batters and bowlers together. It updates live as scores land.

Scoring & Leaderboard

Your Best 3. Averaged.

Your leaderboard score is the average of your 3 best challenge scores, one best score per challenge.

Score per attempt
AI scores each attempt on the 0–100 scale shown in the app.
Score per challenge
Your best attempt counts. A lower retry never pulls your score down.
Leaderboard score
The average of your 3 best challenge scores, one best score per challenge.
Leaderboard
One combined leaderboard for batters and bowlers.
Minimum to be ranked
3 completed challenges, in any leagues. Fewer than 3 and you are not ranked.
More than 3 challenges
Allowed. Only your best 3 count, so extra challenges can only help.
Which scores count
Only Battle of Bats challenges. Scores from any other challenge in the app do not affect this leaderboard.
Ties
The player who reached the tied score first ranks higher.
Final standings
Frozen at 30 Nov, 23:59 Pacific Time (California).

Example

A player scores 85, 72 and 78 on three challenges, then 90 on a fourth. The 72 drops out. Their leaderboard score is:

(90 + 85 + 78) ÷ 3 = 84.33

Entry Fee

USD 5 per Challenge.

Every attempt costs USD 5, retries included. Being ranked takes at least 3 challenges, so at least USD 15.

  • Downloading the Challengers Crease app and registering are free.
  • The fee applies only when you enter a challenge or retry one.
  • Payment is made with app credits. Top up credits inside the app.
  • Each retry is a new attempt at USD 5.
