Fan Engagement

Fans vote in real-time to decide which corporate player bats next or bowls when an Impact player is introduced. The decision is binding and adds unpredictability. This will require a new fan engagement app that can be used for selling branded merchandise and pre/post game engagement including access to cricket grounds.

Match format

Overs

10 overs per side.

Bowling Restrictions

  • A maximum of 3 overs per professional bowler.

  • Corporate players may bowl a maximum of 1 over per innings.

Power Plays

  • First 3 Overs: Fielding restrictions with only 2 fielders allowed outside the circle.

  • Last Over: Additional power play with a maximum of 3 fielders outside the circle.

In-play Engagement

Live Strategy Timeouts

  • Each team gets one 2-minute timeout per innings.

  • Corporate players discuss tactics with professionals during the timeout. This conversation is mic’d up and streamed live, offering fans an insider view of strategy and collaboration.

On-Field Coaching

Professionals can provide live guidance to corporate players just before their turn to bat, bowl, or field a critical moment. These interactions are broadcasted for fan engagement.
